Terms of Service
Last updated: July 18, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Grace's websites, mobile app, and related services (the "Services"). By using Grace, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Grace provides software that helps guests tip service workers and helps workers and businesses receive, track, and pay out those tips. Tips are payments for real-world services. Grace is not a bank. Payment processing and payouts are provided by Stripe under Stripe's terms.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account in the app under Settings, subject to records we must retain for legal and financial compliance (see our Privacy Policy).
3. Tips, fees, and payouts
Guests pay tips through Stripe. Grace may charge a platform or processing fee disclosed at the time of the tip or in product documentation. Workers who enable payouts must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Payout timing depends on Stripe, your bank, and applicable risk checks.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use Grace for unlawful activity, fraud, or money laundering.
- Do not misrepresent who will receive a tip.
- Do not attempt to interfere with or reverse engineer the Services.
- Do not use Grace to sell digital goods or unlock in-app content; Grace is for tipping people for offline service.
5. Organizations and teams
If you invite others to a team, you represent that you are authorized to manage that workplace's tipping arrangements. Pool splits and distributions you configure are your responsibility.
6. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grace disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grace will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Grace's aggregate liability arising out of the Services will not exceed the fees Grace retained on tips processed for you in the three months before the claim.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Grace harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services, your tip or payout configurations, or your violation of these Terms.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
